Customer Review: What more do you want
Summary: 5 Stars

I mean they are batteries, they power stuff, and they work, they can be recharged, you save money!

Customer Review: Very good for about 20-24 months
Summary: 4 Stars

I have been using the Energizer 900mAh Rechargeable AAA for alot MP3 FM radio recording and sony walkman radio use. To record music drains them very fast. With the radio they do alot better; they last all day and more with my sony radio. I use the 9 hour Energizer charger which charges 4 batteries, either AA or AAA. After 20-24 months or so they don't seem to hold the charge as well. I have to put in a new battery alot more often . I am charging alot more. However, I have saved alot of money, since I use these 10-15 hours a day, almost everyday. I would like to find stronger batteries, but for now, I do plan to buy more of these very soon. The Energizer rechargeables drain at least 1% a day, even if you are not using them, and they are designed to be charged only a certain number of times, before they need to be replaced. You might want to get the facts at their website. I use regular non-rechargeable energizer batteries for less frequently used items like remote controls and flashlights.

Customer Review: Charge them right and they'll last!
Summary: 4 Stars

First off, I would like to say that these batteries can NOT be used in the 15-minute chargers. You'll have to use the 8.5-9 hour chargers in order to charge them up to full capacity. I did some testing with my own charger and the 15 minute speed charger. The batteries worked great with the 9 hour charger, but very poorly with the 15 minute charger.

Additionally, the voltage for these are 1.2v. Note that most non rechargeable AAA's are 1.5V, so you will be getting a lower voltage input. This is especially important for those who are using them for flashlights (reduced brightness) and those who are looking for a good 12V equivalent input for DIY projects (8x1.5=12V as opposed to 10*1.2v=12V, you would need 10 batteries as opposed to 8 in order to achieve a 12V input, for example)

Regardless, these batteries, when treated right and if you know what they're best for are a very good deal.

Customer Review: Exactly what you expect - rechargeable batteries
Summary: 4 Stars

Energizer rechargeable batteries last for decent periods of time in kids "Shake 'em up" cars, "Geo Trax" trains and buildings, computer mice and cordless keyboards. My only knock against them is that they seem to lose their charge while sitting around to be used again. Instead of fully charging them then setting them aside until ready to use, I wait until I need them and charge them over night - an inconvenience when there is a sad child involved! This is true for both the "AA" and "AAA" sizes.
