Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Energizer NH15BP-4 Rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride AA Battery 4 PackCustomer Review: Great batteries. Summary: 5 StarsThe batteries work great and last a good while, in my Wii I've gotten at least 60 hours of use. Not entirely sure what the norm is so your mileage may vary. Just make sure if you use two batteries in a single product, you keep the same two batteries together.
Customer Review: Actually bought them at Carrefore in Beijing but still work great Summary: 4 StarsI had actually purchased these at Carrefore (Wal-Mart like store) in China along with a similar charger, except created for the Chinese voltage, when I was studying abroad in Beijing after I kept going through alkaline ones the way a kid goes through candy on Halloween.
A year later they still work great even after switching to using an old NiCd/NiMH charger after I came home since the China charger was designed for 220 rather then 120. While the charger refuses to give me a green light that they are done no matter how long I leave them in there as long as I leave them in there for as long as I used to, app. avg. 7 hours, they work fine.
Though it does take a while for my camera to charge the flash again though it always took that long so I'm thinking it's the camera. I've got a Nikon Coolpix 7600.
They still work and even if I don't use my camera they last for weeks. I had them in the camera for weeks before actually using the camera on a recent trip to The Getty Villa to take pictures and despite a whole afternoon/evening of pictures (1130ish till 9ish) the batteries are still fine and I haven't gotten an alert for low power.
These are definitely better then the alkaline were.
Customer Review: What you Expect Summary: 4 StarsEnergizer rechargeable batteries last for decent periods of time in kids "Shake 'em up" cars, "Geo Trax" trains and buildings, computer mice and cordless keyboards. My only knock against them is that they seem to lose their charge while sitting around to be used again. Instead of fully charging them then setting them aside until ready to use, I wait until I need them and charge them over night - an inconvenience when there is a sad child involved! This is true for both the "AA" and "AAA" sizes.
Customer Review: Self-Discharge rate excessive Summary: 1 StarsI have purchased close to 80 of these batteries, and found that about 1 out of every 4 had a bad discharge rate. I would charge them in sets of four, let them site for one week, then put them on a tester to see which ones were bad. I found that they normally show about 1.29V-1.30V after sitting a week, but the bad ones show about .95V. I am not at all happy with the 2500 MAh batteries, however, I was happy with Energizer's previous 2200 and 2300 MAh versions.
Customer Review: Good way to save money Summary: 5 StarsI've found these to hold a charge for quite some time. I keep extras on hand, in the charger, so that when the ones being used give out I can easily swap. They do lose their charge over time though (like all rechargeables) so don't put them in your camera and expect to take many pictures a month later. For items that you use infrequently I would stick with the non-rechargeables.
