Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Energizer NH15BP-4 Rechargeable AA Battery 4 Pack

Customer Review: Long lasting in my new digital camera
Summary: 5 Stars

I ordered these batteries for use with my new digital camera (ordered at the same time). The batteries have performed great. I installed them in the camera around the second week of January. They just went dead yesterday, January 28. I did a ton of experimenting (including using the flash) when I first got the camera; spent several hours on two separate Saturdays taking pictures for a project; did a considerable amount of other miscellaneous photography since that time (both outdoors, and indoors with flash); all of that was with the screen on constantly; and I have performed quite a few downloads of photos to my computer. The batteries just went dead yesterday. The only thing I have done to conserve battery life is that I always turn the camera off when taking breaks from picture-taking, or moving from one location to another (as in my project, taking pictures around the city where I live). I am very satisfied with their function and how long they last.

Customer Review: Awesome
Summary: 5 Stars

I have 16 of these batteries (AA) and 4 (AAA) and they work like a charm! I use min in my GPS devices, and even took them on vacation last summer. I used 4 batteries and took over 300 digital pictures using my Olympus camera. That was zooming in and out, camera on and off and using a flash on all the photo's taken inside the submarine. Without a doubt, the best rechargeables you can buy. And cheap too. You can get an 8 pack of 2500mah at wal mart for $16 (AA). Amazon is getting to where finding a price on something takes an act of congress, you can find 9v and "C: cells at Buy.com for very little money. Just don't ever use rechargeable batteries in fire alarms or smoke detectors. Or in Pioneer Reciever remotes. Smoke my remote. And to the person who said they are fatter than standard batteries is wrong. I use these in my mini mag lights all the time! I have 2 AAA 1 AA light, as wel as 2 C cell lights.

Customer Review: Highest Capacity Batteries out of 4 brands tested....
Summary: 5 Stars

My son's school science project this year was to test a set of rechargeable batteries. He conducted two tests on Duracell, Sony, Energizer and Lenmar: 1. Long term storage test where the batteries were fully charged and stored for two weeks before measuring the voltage. 2. Capacity test where randomly selected two batteries were fully charged and put on a regular flashlight until a complete discharge happened. The first test was inconclusive. He repeated the capacity test mutiple times and the clear winner was the Energizer NH15BP-4 and the Duracell came in second. BTW, the manufacture's claim on the overall capacity was not even close to the measured capacity.

They were not used over at least 6 months or longer to see if the good performance can be maintained, but I am sold on this battery. I will only buy them from now once my other batteries die.

Customer Review: Great $$ saver, but know what you're getting before you buy!

The reason I say this, is because the picture appears to be of 1200 mAh rated batteries. They now have 2100 mAh Energizers. I wouldn't buy ANY brand batteries less than this. The higher the rating, the longer they'll last in-between charges.

I've seen 2050 mAh, 1850, and others below 2100 mAh in the stores. Shop carefully and get the most for your money.

Bottom line: I am highly pleased with my Engergizer NI-MH chargers and batteries.

PS: Someone below noted that they keep the plastic piece from the battery pack to store their batteries in. I do too - since it'll help keep track of which batteries you've drained and which are fully charged when you're out on a photo shoot outing. I only added one improvement - I glued small velco tabs so the batteries won't spill out on me and into my camera bag.

Customer Review: SAVE LOTS OF MONEY AND THE ENVIRONMENT AT THE SAME TIME
Summary: 5 Stars

In this day and age it is hard to understand why everyone isn't using rechargable batteries. I own about 6 packs of these batteries. They are wonderful. I bet I have saved hundreds of dollars so far and keep saving. Why pay $4.00 to $5.00 for one pack of batteries that get used once and thrown away when you can purchase these and reuse them 1000 times. I absolutely refuse to by disposable batteries for the most part. It is true that they don't quite have the power of normal energizer alkaline batteries so they might be an issue for certain things that use a lot of power. For example Digital Camera's take a lot of power. But for the most part these work really well and I have used them for 3 - 4 years now. I highly recommend them to everyone.
