I purchased two of these cables after my last remaining Apple cable that I was using to charge my iPad was chewed to pieces. I was a bit hesitant since the iPad has higher voltage requirements to charge, but decided that the low price outweighed the risk.
I'm happy to say that this cord does indeed charge both my iPhone 3GS and my iPad. I noticed that it did take a bit longer to charge the iPad and the cord got a bit warm at the USB end, but it got the job done. No issues with syncing my iPhone with iTunes.
I would definitely recommend this cable for anyone looking for a cheap replacement to the official Apple cable, which has the same functionality with a much larger price tag. No issues with the seller and relatively quick shipping times.
