Used this on travels in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Some hotels had multi-receptacles so it wasn't required but I used it for some surge protection. It will work virtually anywhere in the world. Only minor complaint was that it didn't stay in one receptacle without some support--but that was more likely a worn receptacle. The adapter is dirt cheap and shipping was lightening fast. Just be sure the devices you will use with it are rated for 110/240V. Most computers, chargers, etc should be fine. Perhaps not so for hair dryers or small bath appliances.Customer Review: Great Product

Just got back from Ireland, took two of these adapters (2nd in case 1st didn't work)as they are such a good deal, wanted to make sure one would work. Both worked great, they have a red light that indicated when the power is working properly, which is great, because if you push them too far into the plug, the contact is lost, so just adjust until the red light comes on. I never had any problems with them falling out of the wall like some earlier comments suggested, so maybe the wall plugs were defective and not this adapter.Customer Review: Love This Thing!

I bought two of these for a recent trip to Ireland (also used it in N. Ireland, and England). Am I ever glad. Often I would need to charge or use two things at once, so having two was a great benefit. It is lightweight and easy to use. I do agree with other reviewers that you sometimes have to jiggle it a bit in the socket to get the red (on) light to come on and stay on. This worked great in Italy, England and in the US. I used it to charge my digital camera battery. You do have to sometimes prop it up with a book or item so that it doesn't fall out of the socket. Seems a little loose. I didn't have this when I went to Spain and over there all the socket outlet covers are round so I'm not positive this one would fit in Spain or France because it is square. But for the price and the great travel size, I highly recommend it!Customer Review: very convenient and great for the money

I have had this product for only a few weeks, but it seems like a good purchase --- all-in-one design. Please note one disadvantage --- in the UK earthing is sometimes required and this one has a fake plastic prong in place of a real one. Not sure if the Europe plug will work for the Spanish plug points that for some odd reason are deep inside the wall ! Plus point: This has a slanted plug that works for China & Aus.
