This MIDI interface is priced much lower than any other competitor I have found. Works well, and is plug-n-play on most OS. Would have liked to see cable gauge a bit heavier on the din-connector end, but this does no seem to affect performance. I bought the cheap $5 generic one off Amazon first, and while my computer found the cable alright the software I have couldn't recognize my Line 6 M9 guitar pedal for a firmware update until I got this cable. Works great. Plug-n-play on Windows 7 64x no problem.Customer Review: Works perfectly

Not too much to say here other than it works. I plugged it in, plugged my MIDI equipment in the other end, fired up my MIDI software for the device, and it was imediately recognized and worked perfectly. Literally, plug and play. No hassles. Took the cable out of the box, connected it to my Yamaha P90 keyboard and launched GarageBand from Intel iMac. GB found the keyboard without any problem. No software or drivers needed to be loaded. Decent price also.Customer Review: Works great out of box

Plug in play with Mac OS X (Leopard) and my Yamaha PSR-E213. Garageband and Logic Pro both initially recognized it and I could begin recording instantly. No need for driver installation or use of the CD.
Good buy, especially for the price!
