Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of EMU XMIDI 1X1 USB MIDI InterfaceCustomer Review: Good & Easy Summary: 5 Stars
I got this for my new iMac with an Intel processor and it is completely plug and play. I didn't have to download anything, my computer recognized what it was and identified it by name automatically. The only little thing is the cable marked MIDI IN goes to the keyboard's MIDI OUT and the cable marked MIDI OUT plugs into MIDI IN on the keyboard. Slightly confusing but it makes sense after you think about it.
Customer Review: Works great Summary: 5 Stars
I'm using this for remote control of a Behringer DEQ2496 through my PC. It works right out of the box with Seoman's software:

I really have no complaints, there was no software installation required, nothing at all actually, I just plugged it in, fired up Seoman's remote software, and everything worked as expected. I couldn't be more pleased. This is on a 32-bit Windows 7 PC.
Customer Review: Very Simple to use Summary: 5 Stars
My computer does not have a MIDI port so I was looking for a simple, inexpensive way to connect my MIDI controller/keyboard and the EM8780 is exactly that. I am running Windows Vista and did not have any trouble with the drivers. I use Finale and did not have to do anything to the settings for the MIDI input to be recognized. This is a great product.
Customer Review: Works fine Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great way to hook up a MIDI keyboard to your computer without installing extra sound cards. The software was easy to install. The cable connects to the MIDI device and plugs into any available USB port on the computer. My MIDI keyboard is in the next room, so I'm also using a USB extension cable and it still works fine.
Customer Review: has worked very well for me! Summary: 5 Stars
i like it and the price was good. just remember that connecting your midi cables is counterintuitive. i struggled with this so i want to make it clear for you. to many it may seem obvious that you connect the in to the 'out' and the out to the 'in', and yet i've read through a lot of posts that never really stated this clearly.
