This device proved VERY useful for me while on a long flight to Rio recently by keeping my iPod Touch 4g charged up!
The advertised "Up to 35 hours of usage" is a bit of a stretch though!
Granted, I have an iPod Touch 4g which sucks up a battery about as quickly as an iPhone does, but I find it hard to imagine ANY type of device that could get 35 hours of use from the charge this provides.
It will charge my iPod Touch 4g very quickly (in about 30-45 minutes) from a completely discharged state to about a 70%-90% state of charge. (If you continue to use it WHILE you are charging your iPod or iPhone from a discharged state, expect to get about a 50-60% charge)
On an iPod Touch 4g, this provides about 2-4 hours of normal use (watching videos, playing games, surfing the internet, typing emails, etc.) with the screen brightness set to a conservative level (about 30%). If you are just listening to music, with the screen turned off, then you will get MUCH more than 2-4 hours of use from the charge this provides. (Easily more than 10 hours)
This was a lot smaller and lighter than I expected it to be. It is much smaller and lighter than my iPod Touch, and only slightly thicker.
I would definitely recommend this product, but if I had it to do over again, I would probably purchase something with a higher battery capacity than this, for those REALLY long flights. (I had to charge my iPod and this charger at the airport during my flight layover in order to keep my iPod working throughout my entire trip to Rio de Janeiro from California) Consider these 2 Duracell products before you buy this one:
