I admit, I was a bit leery of the low price on these controllers (we got two), AND they were a christmas gift to my nine year old, so it could have been a disaster if they didn't work right out of the package.
They not only work, they work very well at all angles, and the light up feature is kind of cool (my son says).
There's not much to instructions and packaging, but the operation is pretty simple:
you put the squarish plug transmitter thingys in the same hole you normally plug in the cabled controllers.
There's an on-off switch under the controller itself, and that's it. You're ready to billy and mandy meets the zombies or whatever it is my son is playing.
Well worth the small price.
The only caveat I'd give you is they use relatively non-standard size batteries - AAA. and each controller needs three, I think. Something I found out AFTER we opened the package on christmas morning. Luckily we barely had enough on hand, otherwise we'd have been sunk.
