Everything in my room is pretty much connected to my computer, and I only have PC monitor. My monitor didn't have the right input for the cables that came with the Xbox; but luckily, the monitor did have a DVI and VGA. So I decided to look for a cable to remedy my problem instead of buying a TV. This cable is made just like the Microsoft version allowing you to connect the video through the VGA output and then the audio through the red and white connectors that branch out. I have my PC monitor doing video and my PC handling the audio (which is connected to my speaker system); everything works fine. Why shell out $50+ for the Microsoft brand VGA cables when you can get these for under $10. Great bang for your buck product.Customer Review: Great Cable, Great Price

I have a Dell E193FP 19" monitor & the 360 looks amazing on it. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the picture quality; games are clear & sharp in HD. I have the resolution set at 1280x1024.
The only problem was with the RCA audio; there's only about 18" of cord from the VGA to the RCA connections. That seems to be a problem with any 360 VGA cables I've seen, but if that's too short for you (as it was for me), if/when you order, I would advise you also order parts/cables to extend the RCA audio rather than trying to shop for them locally (as I did) since you will pay a lot less & have an easier time finding what you need.

When I got this cable in the mail, I saw that the plastic casing it was in was a little beaten up. It didn't matter because when I got the cable out, I plugged it into my Xbox 360 and my monitor and the picture quality was amazing, amazing for only $3. There is no breaks in the cable, it has noticeable HD, and to top it off, optical audio input.
One downside, there is no HD~TV switch on the console's end, which I believe doesn't really matter since its producing in HD anyways.
Overall, this cable is really wonderful for the $9 I spent on it and it got here a day before I was expecting it

When I came across this product I thought the price was too good to be true since I found most of these cables to be in the $30 range. I am glad that I decided to give it a try because I saved a lot of money and I have not had any problems with the cables yet. The picture on my roommate's HD monitor is great. The only minor complaint I have is that it is difficult to screw/unscrew the little knobs that allow you to plug the cable in, but other than that no complaints.Customer Review: Great Deal

This was well worth my money. The picture is great and the cord is easy to use. I am just using the cord on a regular 21 inch LCD monitor instead of an HD compatible monitor, but all it took was to plug the cords into their respective parts and thats it. Once in the xbox dashboard you can change the resolution of the screen.
