I personally think the last rating "Compatibility with Mac" is probably not a fair rating. Not everyone (including myself) has a Mac. But I had already rolled over the question and it was going to give one star anyway. So in fairness, I have nothing to rate on that aspect. This product works great. I got one with my phone and when I needed it at work it was at home, when I needed it a home I had left it at work, so I bought an extra. I was very weary about purchasing these cords after seeing so many negative reviews on here but now that they are here and I've tested them out they're perfect. I ordered two and they look like carbon copies of my original cord that came with my iPhone 4. Both my iPod classic 5th generation & iPhone 4 sync to the computer (Win 7 x64 Ultimate) perfectly. I'm glad I ordered these as they were about 1/20 of the cost of a cord from anywhere else.Customer Review: Buy several when you can

After reading some reviews i was a bit sketchy on whether this would work with my Iphone 3G. I placed the order on April 29th and received them on May 2nd, not bad at all for free shipping with a weekend thrown in. I am currently docked to my laptop and charging my Iphone so they seem to work perfect for me. Only got 2 but will order more just to have around the house, for $1.77 why not. IMPORTANT! Please read this:
The supplier I ordered from (Nextweb Sales) did indeed ship a genuine Apple ipod cord, and it worked just fine. It came in the original box and is "officially" for an iphone 3G but it works for my ipod touch 4G too.
I suggest those who get imitation cables (everyone, actually) include the seller they ordered from in the review, that way we know who's a good supplier to buy from.

My OEM USB cable was "lost" in my checked bag on a flight with Southwest Airlines (who is refusing to compensate me for my loss), so I needed to purchase a new one. Didn't want to pay $20.00+ for a new cable on the apple website because I just bought my nano in November 2010. This cable works fine - no problems. Don't believe the reviews that this is junk - it works just like the cable that came with the nano.
