Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Dock Connector to USB 2.0 Cable for iPod and iPhone (White)Customer Review: Works great even for the price. Summary: 5 Stars
I've seen a lot of negative reviews on this product and can't understand why. I mean anyone looking for a wire made from apple are in the wrong place. You can't get an apple wire for a dollar but you can get one that works just as well. I haven't had any problems with mine and I am a returning customer. The only reason I'm here buying a new one is that I didn't put my last one up far enough and my cat got a hold of it :(
If that little accident never happened I wouldn't be back here and would have had that previous wire for almost a year without any difficulties or troubles. It works great, just like the apple wire but much cheaper! You can buy like 10 of these for the price of one apple wire and that's just because it's a brand product. Really the apple wire is no better or worse it just has the apple name which allows them to charge around $15 for it. You're wasting your money doing so. Like I said this wire works great and is cheap. I definitely recommend it to anyone that has an ipod.
Customer Review: Those of you with ipod Nanos, PLEASE HELP Summary: 5 Stars
After reading the other reviewers, I am now almost certain that I need this connector but I just can't seem to understand what is going on. I bought my new ipod Nano about 3 months ago and was using it in my old Mac. I didn't even really pay attention to plugging it in etc. because it all I cared about was that I COULD connect it to my computer... BUT I just bought a new HP PC and went to plug my Nano into it and the firewire end of my cable has nowhere to plug into on my PC. Did I lose something that should have come with my Nano - like a converter or something?? Or do they only come with these ways of connecting through a firewire and therefore, I have no choice but to buy this or else I really can't even use my nano in the first place??? (I didn't even realize that on the Mac, I must have had a firewire port that I had never used before...and now I don't on my PC ?? ) Can anyone help me make sense of this??
Thank you a million times...
Customer Review: Unbelievable price for good quality product. Summary: 5 Stars
I searched every where for the best price on this cable product. I could not believe that I would have to pay over $20 dollars for a little cable.
I found a few sites that offered a lesser price for the cable but the shipping cost was $10 dollars or more, I would wind up spending more then
I hope to. I came across a price comparisons at amazon.com. I could not
believe my eyes when I saw the cable priced for less then $3 dollars, the shipping charge was less then $3 dollars too. I bought the peace through my account with amazon to assure a safe transaction. I have been enjoying my cable purchase with no problems. I will always buy through amazon.com I can not see myself trusting any other way to shop. I have had a few bad experiences shopping other ways and I have never had a bad experience when shopping through amazon.com. Try it yourself and you too will be pleasantly convinced.
Customer Review: Great Cable for the Ipod. Summary: 5 Stars
yes the cable works and does'nt seem to be cheaply made like some others have mentioned. if your looking for a device to connect to your mac computer if you did'nt get one or you need to replace your cable for the ipod nano then this for you. i bought this one with a Apple USB Power Adapter for iPod/iPhone because just wanted something to charge my ipod because it kept on running of power and i was'nt near my imac to charge it, so i got this combo and it's great, because theApple USB Power Adapter for iPod/iPhone plugs into the wall and then uses the cable to plug into ipod. the only thing that is alittle pesty is that the cable once locked into place on you ipod is like pitbull it won't pull out like a regular one. so you have to push in on the little buttons on the two sides of cable to release the cable from the ipod dock after charging. but other than that it's wonderful.
Customer Review: Seems legitimate... Summary: 5 Stars
Looks EXACTLY like an Apple cord, functions perfectly like an Apple cord, box is generic and packaging didn't really say Apple on it anywhere..
The box lists Apple's address, says that this is copyrighted and the Apple logo is a registered trademark of Apple. It says on the bottom of the box "Apple USB Power Adapter" and "Designed by Apple in California". Doesn't have the Apple logo on it anywhere, nor does it say made by Apple.
It's identical to a legit Apple cord (minus the Apple logo on USB plug), doesn't say Apple brand on the box, but it works perfectly fine. I'm not gonna tear it apart. It was less than $2 shipped and came in decent time. Perhaps it's a really good knock off? Not sure. Like I said, it was cheap and it works, and it looks like the real deal. A steal for $2. Don't know about the other guys who got a knock off though...
