While it was a little difficult at first to get the screen protector on without any air bubbles underneath, the case has been great. I'm clumsy and this thing adds enough protection around the areas that would hit the floor that I feel pretty good carrying this thing around.
One thing to note though, while I haven't upgraded to better earphones than the ones that came with the Touch, I plan to in the future, which will most likely make the attached earphone organizer on the back a moot addition...but in the meantime, while I'm using the earphones that came with the Touch, it makes things a 100-times better...I used to just wrap the cord around the Touch before and without fail every time the cord with tangle and I'd spend 3 minutes trying to untangle the dang wire...so, it's a great feature if you plan on always using the earphones that came with the Touch.
Overall, I think it's great and kind of sharp looking for a piece of silicone or whatever it's made out of.

I spent a good amount of time reading reviews of similar products and in the end chose the DLO Jam Jacket for its cord management and price. This product did not disappoint. The silicon is high quality, soft, and durable, with a textured grip so there is no chance of your iPod slipping out of your hand. It fits the iPod touch 1G like a glove and is easy to put on and remove in a flash. Some reviewers have recommended the Speck Toughskin as a better case for protection but I would be surprised if the padded corners of the Jam Jacket would not be sufficient protection. The opening for the ambient light sensor IS in the correct location on this case as described. Some other cases I have seen have the opening in the center of the case directly above the screen despite the light sensor being slightly to the left. I have had the case for 2 weeks and it still looks brand new. No stretching and no splitting anywhere. I highly recommend this product!Customer Review: Best thing since the wheel

This is the best invention since the wheel. Well, for those who cannot stand trailing cords. I only use one side of the earphones while driving (permitted where I live), and so many times I have stepped out of my car and stepped on my earphones, or found them dragging in water. Now, I wrap and go with confidence.
I was worried about the shield picking up dust; no problem there, it cleans easily.
The downside is that it ate my earbuds (I do not use the earphones which came with my iPod). The "pocket" which houses the buds is so tight that when I tried to extract the buds, the cord came up and left the bud! I was sorry because they were good quality buds. But, I hate dangling cords, so I quietly replaced the earbuds and worked my way around that little challenge.
I will have this product until they come up with wireless earphones for the iPod Touch.

I really like this product. I love that the back of it has a cord keeper so that my earphones aren't all tangled and I like the grip that the sides of the jacket provide. I also like that all the primary plugin outlets are left open so that I can leave it in the case when syncing with my laptop or putting on earphones. I haven't had any problems accessing the internet with the jacket on nor has there been any problems with viewing the screening or using touch controls. The only problem is that the jacket covers the external volume controls so you have to figure out where they are or use the touch screen to control the volume. I think it's a great product and works great with my Ipod touch 3rd generation.
In terms of reviewers who had problems with bubbles when applying the screen protectors, just use a credit card over the protector as you are slowly applying it.

This is the second DLO product I have bought, and I have to say that once again I highly recommend. It fits my 16GB iTouch like a glove. It also provides an excellent way to store the headphones. This is a big plus for me because I like to use my iTouch in my vehicle via an aux input. The jacket keeps my iTouch from sliding and it keeps me from having to look for my headphones when I get out and walk. The Jam Jacket also provides quite a bit of protection with its reinforced padded corners. It also comes with a screen protector that also fits the iTouch screen perfectly. Don't settle for a iTouch/iPhone compatible jacket/protector. This is the one to buy. The only negative is that it may not fit in a docking station with the jacket on, but you can take it off fairly easily. This doesn't apply to me because I use a USB dongle and not a dock anyway.
