I don't usually write reviews for products but this one is an exception.
I looked at a lot of different IPOD cases, this one looked good.
As it turned out this case is perfect for me. It holds the IPOD tightly, and closes to protect the screen. I can easily clip it to my belt, but more often I slip it into my pocket, where it is well protected from scratches. It is made from what looks to me like high quality leather, no plastic. It has easy access to the ear and charger cable, it even has cut-outs for the volume buttons on my 2G. It looks like a wallet, so when I open it up I am not drawing attention to myself. I have been using it for about a month, and I have found no downside. Some reviewers commented on the smell, none here at all, about the same as a new wallet. I am very happy with this purchase!

I got this to protect our new Ipod Touch Third Generation which is used by our entire family which includes three boys. It has all the necessary openings for the charger, on/off buttons, earphone input and the side volume control on the Ipod Touch. There is no need for any modifications at all, it is just right. The Ipod slid right in no problem. Very nice quality in looks, feel and function. I especially like the flip open cover which is held shut by magnets and the belt clip. I recently bought a 32gb iPod Touch and the DLO HipCase. I read the reviews for the flip case and wondered if it would fit my 32gb Touch. I'm very happy to say that YES, it fits, and it fits nicely. True, the volume controls on the left side of the Touch are unreachable with the case on, but the music and most of the apps I have on it have volume control in them, so the controls on the left are usually not needed.
I highly recommend this case for iPod Touch users because it is well constructed and a pleasure to hold. The cover flips all the way to the back so that it does not get in the way. My Touch is currently lying open on my desk. The cover is flipped to the back and serves as a nice, flat surface for any kind of iPod touching I need to do. It is the best case I have ever purchased. Way to go DLO!

You can't go wrong, you've got a flap that closes over the screen to protect it. your volume rocker on the side is still accessible and you can still plug up your headphones and usb cord without taking the ipod out the case. I put my screen cloth inside of the little pocket and the flap is still able to close securely and safely. Not a big bulky belt clip either like some of these other brands. Bottom line an affordable case that is so far the best for what's out there. Come on people, you're always gonna have something you don't like about a product. for example, the only thing i don't like about my case is the fact that the flap sometimes gets in the way, but the flap is needed to protect the screen so i just live with that!! The gel "cases" you slip on to your iPod/Phone/PDA never appealed to me. The harder and most protective cases are bulkier then I would like. This leather case is perfect for me. Almost all of the iPod Touch is covered--a small spot on each side and bottom and the corners is all that remain visible. Of those, I think only the bottom corners could really make impact if dropped (the rest being recessed within the leather). Of course, the port to connect to your computer and the headphone jack are in the parts that remain accessible. My guess is the leather (not, I think the finest leather around, but nice) is as protective as the gel cases. And its simply a beautiful sophisticated look (as others have noted, its a good look for an office). Oh, and I didn't really have a problem with an odor.
