Customer Review: Absolutely FANTASTIC case for iPod touch

I have owned a number of iPods, and many cases for them over the years, and I must say, this is one of the best I have ever had. I was mainly looking for a case with good clip for my iPod touch, that would adequately protect it, and be moderately low profile at the same time. I tried Contour Design's Showcase touch first. I found that it was a decent case, but the belt clip attached in such a way that within two weeks I was seriously doubting the integrity of the way the clip attached to the case, it wobbled around after a while, and was afraid that it would just fall off one day. It also scratched very, very easily, and after only two weeks of moderate use, was looking rather ragged. So I ordered this case...
The belt clip on this case feels very sturdy, it is made of metal covered with leather, and attached to the back of the case very securely. The only downside is that the clip is not removable, but it is fairly low profile, so it hasn't been a problem for me.
Aside from the clip, all other parts of the case seem to have very good build quality. None of the stitching is loose, and the iPod fits snugly inside. The flip cover is a nice way to protect the screen when not in use. The magnet the holds the cover in place when closed is *just right* in regards to strength. It keeps the cover in place when closed, and is easy enough to open when you need to use the iPod. The little pocket in the cover is a nice addition, but if you over-fill it, then the magnets can't hold the case closed, so bear that in mind.
As for protective-ness, the case should protect the iPod from most drops, since the case covers the screen pretty well when closed. However, some of the side of the iPod is exposed within the case, as well as some of the bottom (necessary to access ports!) and the bottom corners. This isn't really an issue though, as the case sticks out far enough beyond these edges to still provide protecting in case of a drop.
The case looks very nice, and even with the clip, is moderately low-profile. I didn't have any problem with a smell like some other reviewers did, mine just smelled mildly of leather, which is to be expected.
I highly recommend this case to any iPod touch owner who needs a stylish case that will provide a nice amount of protection, and a good belt clip so that their iPod is always handy when they need it! This case is a steal for the price Amazon is selling it for, so get one today!
