I don't understand the complaints. It takes only a few minutes, and is easy unless you have arthritis or carpal tunnel. I had a very beaten up DVD i was going to throw out restored to like new quality.Customer Review: it really works!

I think this machine is great! I have repaired 3 dvd movies without damaging them, and they now play again. Maybe the cheaper model dvd players will not recognize them but my Sony did just fine!
