I'd give this 6 stars, if I could. I've used this on several CDs, to perfection. You need to follow the directions exactly, and you need to understand that it won't fix every disk. But, if this won't fix it, nothing will. In any event, if it only fixes 2-3 CDs, it's paid for itself.I suspect that the persons who have had trouble either didn't follow directions or expected it to do more than is possible.

If you have a bunch of CDs, DVDs, or video games, this product is well worth the money. I had a game that I paid $50 for that I was getting disc read errors. I was on the verge of buying another one, but saw some scratches and figured I'd give this a try. If you follow the directions, you will be happy with the results. I haven't tried other discs yet, but saving this one alone saved me another $50.Customer Review: I Love This Thing

I've been using the Skip Doctor for about 3 years now and I must say that I don/t think that I could ever live without one. I have refinished over 200 CD's and 90% of those have become "Like New" again, but it has never [messed] up a single CD. Now I have never tried the Skip Dr. on DVD's or games, I don't see how it would mess up that type of disc. I love my skip Dr...Customer Review: Works Exactly How the Box Says It Does!

This product works perfectly. The first day I got it I used it on a computer game with very deep scratches. It repaired the smaller scratches in the cd and made the deep ones better! This is great! With a 4 yr old and an 18 month old we had MANY cds and dvds that did not work. This has fixed everyone that we have tried. Well worth the money. If you are a little lazy, you may want the automatic one, otherwise it is a good workout for your arms!
