For automatic transmission - fuel-injected gasoline vehicles only. This model will not work on diesel or carbureted vehicles. Vehicles with certain factory anti-theft systems such as VATS - P.A.T.S. - Passlock - Passlock 2 - Passkey 3 - Securlock - Transponder - and Saturn security systems will also require the Universal Alarm Bypass Module (model 20402, 27402, or 29402) or a similar device for installation of any remote starter. Extra parts (such as 30 Amp relays) may be required for installation on certain vehicles. Most vehicles will not require extra parts. Not recommended for the following vehicle makes: Audi 1998+; BMW 1998+; Jaguar 1998+; Land Rover 1998+; Mercedes C Class & S1: 1998+; Range Rover 1998+; Volvo 1999+.
