Purchased from Dell for a great price, and must echo all other comments regarding superb picture quality. However, it does seem to run extremely hot. Not just hot to the touch, but you can feel the heat emanating off the screen towards you, making it very uncomfortable - so uncomfortable, I'm really starting to worry if something is wrong. I've used LCD monitors before and have never experienced anything like this. Even mounted on the wall sitting about 2, 2-1/2 feet back, the heat is intense. You say Dell monitors don't have Service Tags??? You guessed wrong; they have Service Tags, though they'ren't so obvious at first glance. First, they are five-digit (XX-XXX) codes printed on either the bottom-left or bottom-right corner of the back, and they'ren't preceded by a "Service Tag" label. They usually appear on the same area as the manufacture date (which is pretty obvious). Hope this will help every potential Dell screen buyer...Customer Review: Great for games

This monitor is great for games. No ghosting, and the colors are outstanding.
As TV/HDTV, the picture is too dark, and tends to be redish. Also, I had to return it twice because of a dead pixel and a purple vertical line on the right hand side of the screen.
If you want a monitor to watch videos then this monitor is not for you.
