This unit would have gotten 5 stars if it was more portable; however, with the open bottom, it is better used in one place. Great cooler, very functional USB hub and extremely quiet fans (I often have to visually check to make sure they're running) make this a near perfect laptop stand. I run a macBook pro which gets extremely hot -- this keeps it cool.Customer Review: Cool thighs for me!

I got this fan a week ago and ever since my computer (hp) has been cool to the touch. Even my charger has cooled off. Both were often too hot to touch, and my puter would burn my thighs. No more burnt thighs for me! I love the price and it functions excellent!!! oh and i dont have to plug it in to the wall so that great too! thank you techmann890!Customer Review: good cooler

this cooler works just fine- it is a little loud, but not nearly as loud as my laptop can be when it's overheating.
for the price, its great. the only other flaw from the noise I found is that the bottom scratched my desk up, and I had to put some tape over the sharp bits to stop it from wrecking it.

I have a 17" MacBook and when I dock it, it gets really hot. I got this cooler pad and it keeps my laptop A LOT cooler. Holds and cools big laptop, no problem. I'm very pleased thus far, just curious how long it will last..... it does take one USB port so if your comp doesn't have a few you might want to get a hub.Customer Review: Worked well for what I had.

I had a Gateway computer and it plugged up fine to that and worked, but that laptop ended up falling apart. I have it under my current HP laptop to keep it from just sitting flat, but unfortunately the USB cable for this device is not right for my HP. Great little thing though if it works for your computer.
