i have a hp notebook and this product keeps the notebook very cool. the fans are hardly noticeable and the angle greatly improves comfort of notebook use. also the rubber :legs" keep it stable. someone mentioned that the bottom "lip" doesn't hold the notebook from sling, but that's what the rubber feet are for. if the lip was higher or rounded up more you couldn't use front jacks. well worth the moneyCustomer Review: Good Product

This is my second cooling pad after the Targus I orginally used. The design is nice with the open metal frame and 3 fans. Other reviewers have complained about the open design but I fail to see any problem with it. The product seems sturdy and not cheap like the plastic Targus. After about a month, my laptop has no problem with heat. I also like how the back is raised which makes for easier use.Customer Review: nice product

I love this cooler pad. It has a low profile and a constant fan. It is quiet. I set it on my lap desk under my computer. It is lightweight and unobtrusive, but elevates the laptop by less than inch in front. If it saves my thermal pad from replacement (it failed before I bought this product) then I will be a happy girl.Customer Review: usb powered

I have a Mac and it tends to heat up when I use it for long periods of time. I work overseas where the weather is quite hot - it reaches up to 130's in the summer. This fan works great and cools my computer. The environment is not that great here with sand and dirt but the fans are still working.Customer Review: works great but

works great but there should be some way to secure the computer to the unit. I did have to change the position of one of the fans because it was working against the computer fan. some alterations are needed to use with a travel mount but overall it works great for the price of the unit.
