I bought these controllers to work with MAME, a program that emulates many of the classic arcade games I grew up with. When they arrived, I plugged them in and with the -joystick option to MAME I was using them to play classic games like PacMan and Gauntlet right away. No driver setup was required or anything (this was on my Windows XP system).
