I bought this controller for $9.99 after rebate from Circuit City. I used rechargeable AAA batteries in it worked great. Please note that if there is not continuous gameplay after several minutes you might have to hit the connect button which will reconnect the controller to the Xbox in seconds. However, I have not gound it to be an inconvenience.
