This hybrid shell for the iPod 2g has been the best case for an iPod or Phone I have ever owned.
The unique thing is the hybrid as advertised, but not explained. The black rubber dots are like press-fit studs that sit against the back of the iPod inside the crystal case and stand-out the case's back. The clear plastic case is strong and smooth for easy pocketing, the studs give it a real shock absorbing effect and INCREDIBLE handling grip. I can easily hold it with one hand, even in the fingertips of one hand and have a comfortable hold of it with these studs.
The studs can be removed and organised into a custom pattern to create a flat stable surface for pressing the Home button without the device rocking on the curved back.
The case I bought had 3 parts, the back with studs, the front rim and a screen protector, so it was all included. I have had it for over a year and the case has never come apart unless I pulled it open.
I'd like to have this case for the iPhone too!
