Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of DAZER II Ultrasonic Dog DeterrentCustomer Review: Quieting the Neighbors Summary: 5 Stars
We live next to a german shephard dog that barks at everything and is left outside 24/7. Can't count how many times we lost sleep or couldn't even enjoy an evening outdoors. A friend had the dazer and we borrowed it for a weekend. It works pretty well, the best device I've tried. It doesn't always give an immediate relief from the barking but it does work, need to point and press multiple times. The only thing we didn't consider was that our two cats also hear the sound and at first they would hide when we used it, but they don't seem to be bothered as much now. I would suggest when you use the dazzer, don't use in the same area/room as your cat. It also works inside, through walls and windows, although you do need to aim the device toward the barking dog, an open window works best.
Finally, some relief!
Customer Review: Temporary Fix Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using this for about a year now and it works as advertised. I am in the process of upgrading to a battery powered unit that will sit outside (tucked in a bird feeder) and set to go off when the neighbors dogs bark more than twice or three times. I use this while working in my home office since the neighbors dogs bark throughout the day. I can aim it out my window and after pressing it a couple of times they settle down. I LOVE dogs, yet can't stand constant barking while our kids are taking their naps. Be aware though, during the night the dogs will bark, wake you up, you have to go get the device, open the window and use it. After too many upsetting nights we've decided to invest in an outdoor unit, battery controlled, to put up by the fence to control nightly barking. Hope this helped...
Customer Review: 5 - STAR PRODUCT!!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
The Dog Dazer performed as advertised. I have very severe allergies to dogs and cats. The Dog Dazer has allowed me to go for walks in our community again. I was forced to stop last year becauase a dog jumped on me. Dogs and cats cause me severe breathing issues. Well last week, that same dog came rushing out to jump all over me again. I pressed the dazer ONE TIME. He stopped, looked away, looked back at me and walked away. I had to pass that same dog again on my way home. He did not even look at me. Boy, did that feel good! I also used the Dazer on the next door neighbor's dogs. The don't rush the fence barking like rabid dogs anymore trying to tear my leg off. They quietly stay away from me now. You have no idea how liberated I feel. The Dazer is a 5-STAR product and I highly recommmend it.
Customer Review: Finally a reasonable solution Summary: 5 Stars
We have neighbors on one side of us with four dogs that are unruly and actual pack against the horses and sheep in their own yard. These dogs think nothing of barking and running up to us to challenge us whenever we walk our dog. Several times I waited until one was four feet away, took aim and hit the button. There was an immediate response. Whichever dog is close turns away and the others do not pursue us.
However, since purchasing this wonderful device we found that if we call animal control and complain that after a certain number of times these neighbors will begin to get fines that get larger and larger. We have pictures and videos since it is a consistent problem.
I recommend this product. The company sent it to us as soon as they received the order. We are very pleased.
Customer Review: I could KISS the inventor!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have three large dogs next door that bark and howl all the time! There are two rots and one chow/husky mix and they are constantly waking up my 15 month old. I decided to get the Dazer 2 because of the reviews and the price and I am SO GLAD I DID! I stand out my back door and point it at the fence where the dog is (about 25 feet away through a 6 foot wood fence) and press the button for about 2 seconds and at first they just stopped barking for a minute, than barked again so I set it off again and they ran inside. Now whenever they bark, I set it off and they tuck tail and run in the house. Now they rarely bark! 1 month later: If they do bark all I have to do is open the sliding back door and they run in the house. I would defiantly call it a SUCCESS! I could KISS the inventor!
