Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of D-Link DBT-120 Wireless Bluetooth 2.0 USB AdapterCustomer Review: Great little USB device, works like a charm! Summary: 5 Stars
This was so easy to install - within seconds I was up and running with my wireless keyboard and mouse! All of the computers in our office were bluetooth ready, except for mine ;( , so i had to find an alternative solution so that I could use the fancy keyboard and mouse that came with my new office. Fortunately, I found this d-link adapter and trusted the reviews I read online! I haven't had any problems with connectivity/loss of signal - you would think that my computer had a factory bluetooth chip!
Customer Review: works with Vista x64 Summary: 5 Stars
Switched to Vista 64-bit, but part of the problem with that is that some devices no longer worked via usb due to a lack of drivers - my palm for example and my cell phone. Bluetooth seemed to be my only workaround for it but that meant finding a bluetooth adapter that works with Vista x64. I got this adapater, plugged it in and hoped for the best. Vista installed it without a hitch. My palm and cell phone have had no issues working with it. Plus that's two less usb cables I need to keep around.
Customer Review: Good bluetooth adapter Summary: 5 Stars
The installation of the drivers required me to manually disable the microsoft drivers, then tell Windows XP to search for the correct drivers on the CD that came with this device. But that's a Microsoft problem and not a DLink problem. I was able to find a solution to the problem by searching google. This device works great for file transfers and other services with my motorola razr v3c from us cellular without any other software, by using the widcomm drivers that come with this device.
Customer Review: works great with Vista and Mac OS 10.4.10 Summary: 5 Stars
Bought the DBT-120 last April, mainly because I'm cheap and the offer [$25 less $10 rebate] made it hard to pass up.
Easy to install, no drivers required with Vista [built-in ones suffice], likewise with the Mac(s) we use it on. Range is fine [reaches the 12' or so across the room when used with our 'media center' running Vista].
Considering buying another one, will probably get it as it's still bundled with a rebate. Hard to go wrong at this price.
Customer Review: No problems - Win XP Home & Professional SP1, SP2 & ME Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this adapter in October 2004 and have been using it extensively with my Sony Ericsson T610 & now Nokia 6230 cellphones. I use the adapter to synchronize my outlook items, download ringtones, pictures, games to my cellphones.
I didnt have any problems in installation. I installed the drivers/software from Dlink website instead of the CD. Working like a breeze if you follow the instructions provided in the website.
**4 stars for the product**
