I have the revision 5. Works just as good as any other BT dongle only I think they have better tech support than the others. I had trouble connecting my PDA via BT to my main computer and went to D-Link's site only to find they had updated drivers.
It wasn't really D-Link's fault that the current drivers weren't working, it was Windows XP's fault. Anyway, they gave me a download link and very good instructions on how do re-install D-Link's drivers and how to get the device to looks for those particular drivers instead of Windows generic BT drivers.

I almost bought integrated Bluetooth with my laptop. It was that or HSM. I chose the HSM option, and decided to purchase the DBT-120 BT USB adapter.
I was very wary of purchasing ANY USB adapter because of the compatibility issues between SP2 and the various adapters.
It isn't terribly hard to get things working appropriately. I found that the onsite support PDF file helped a lot.
I give this product 5 stars. It works flawlessly, except for the SP2 hitch....But you can't really blame anyone but MicroSoft for that one.

Using on an HP notebook with XP Home edition OS. Installation of drivers/software was quick, very easy setup. Product works very well, don't need to stay close to the antenna for this to work. I previously used a USB wireless mouse, had to be within 2 ft to expect reliability. Now using a Logitec optical Bluetooth enabled mouse,I can use the mouse at a convenient distance often using the arm of a chair or my leg as a mouse surface when no flat surface is available. No drop outs experienced. Highly recommend this product for short range Bluetooth devices.Customer Review: Link in your pocket

The main reason I purchased this handy USB adapter was to access my Motorola L6 (cell phone) from a computer and the DBT-120 just plain works the way these things should. Bluetooth is by far the easiest way to move pics and mp3s in and out of a capable phone, not to mention contacts syncronization, and in a pinch even get you online. Setup was about as simple as it gets ... and it fits in that tiny pocket you forget about. In fact, I left one in my jeans, it went through the wash, and after drying out, it still worked! D-Link has always been my pick for bluetooth adapters. In the past has always worked the best. Purchased this one for another computer, and after installation, the bluetooth icon says 30 day evaluation period. Well, guess what? After the 30 days, IT STOPPED WORKING. So, when you purchase this item, after installation, if you get this message, uninstall it and send it back! Guess I will be looking for other bluetooth devices from other manufacturers, being this last one was a waste of money. Too bad, d-link has great products.
