I received the Cyber Snipa game pad V2 about a week ago and so far my experience with it has been great, but there are a couple are a couple issues to be aware of.
As a gamer that isn't used to playing fps's on the PC, I struggle using the keyboard while playing online. I feel that even a fraction of a second spent searching for a button is too long when playing competitively. I was dying so much in Battlefield Bad Company 2 that I wasn't having any fun!
So, I bought this game pad and I'm not sure whether it's psychological, but my playing has much improved!
Ok, the pad is great, but what are the problems I speak of?
Well there are three thing, the second of which caused me to write this review...
1. The buttons need to be pressed down pretty firmly in order for them to register. This isn't a big deal and I've adapted pretty well, but after using a mac keyboard for so long my typing touch has become pretty light. The upside is that I don't often make mistakes and press the wrong buttons...
2. The LED on the face of the device is super bright, again not a big deal easily fixed with some tape. However before I covered it up, even a casual glance at the light would take me straight to headache city.
3. This is the big one... Now, this should not be viewed as a reason not to purchase this product because honestly there are so many factors involved that I'm not sure what the root cause is but I wanted to put this out there in case anyone else had the same problem. The first time I shut down my pc with this peripheral attached it did not shut down normally. Now to be fair, I've had some problems with putting my brand new 64bit win 7 machine to sleep, but this was a normal shutdown. The pc went through the normal process of shutting down, the monitor blanked out, but the machine stayed on; light, hd, fans and all.
Thinking it was a fluke, I held the button to shut the pc down. Later, I turned it on and.... Nothing. I'd get the bios splash screen, but it would just restart. No beeps, the keyboard wasn't functional, nothing. I ripped my pc apart, reset the cmos, and unplugged unnecessary hardware. Still nothing. One thing I didn't unplug though, was the game pad. It turns out that if the game pad is plugged in while the machine shuts down or starts up, it causes major problems with my pc.
My pc is now working fine and in the I will just unplug the device before shutting down, but man was I freaking out for a second. Like I said, this is most likely not a flaw with the device but just something to be aware of in case the same thing happens to you.
Overall, great device with minor, fixable problems.

I bought this pad Four months ago for playing Battlefield 2142. the buttons are slightly stiffer than my keyboards. no problems with contact. index finger for movement, pinky for crouch and lay, thumb for jump. haven't been able to get used to others very well, ether my hands are too big, or I'm too old for my hands to do a three hour a day dance on the pad. other buttons are nice for checking score on the fly, sending commands,etc.
the lights haven't gone completely out, but two of three have dimmed considerably. not a problem, less annoying.
cord has good length. no function problems at all. over all very good, would recommend to anybody.
Only four stars for bad lights. someone else had this problem too.
