I purchased from Amazon and have been using this for about 3 weeks. I like the small form factor (even smaller than I was envisioning from the photos. Tucks right into my laptop case for travel. The extra port in the front is very handy. The vertical stand is quite substantial and fits snugly. A bit of velcro or double stick tape would solve any positioning issues others have mentioned due to lightweight. I connected my printer, 2 Buffalo 1 TB external drives and MS wireless mouse receiver seamlessly on my Windows 7 64 bit Toshiba Satellite. This product performs fine right out of the box. No setup, nothing to do, just plug and play. Lots of little lights - it makes for a nice light show when the room lights are low or out - but mine doesn't blink or change as someone who reviewed this product commented theirs does (I'm so hurt!).
I have cameras and printers pluged into this unit and there isn't any noticable speed loss. I keep my main stuff like a modem plugged directly into the computer.
The heavy base is a nice feature. Holds the unit in place better. Took a while to get it from the vendor but still a five star rating.

I bought this based on the previous favorable reviews. I needed a powered USB hub for a MagicJack Internet phone I also bought from Amazon. I wasn't disappointed. Both work great. No problems whatsoever. The lights are neat, but the blue light is really bright. I placed a small piece of black tape over the light and it gives a cool blue glow to the interior. I used to have problems plugging a USB Flash Drive into my computer's USB jack. Sometimes it would ignore it. But now, when I plug the USB Drive into the CyberPower it finds it every time. It couldn't be easier to use. I connected it to USB port on my computer and I used the optional power plug just because I have so many devices being used at any one time. But if I were charging a Bluetooth gadget or something and the computer went down the gadget would still continue to charge. The only port I didn't use was the mini-USB. After I was done connecting all my products to it it worked flawlessly. My only complaint is that the base could be slightly more weighty holding it in place better since the way it is now it will sit based on how the wires connected to it pull or push at it.Customer Review: The best has arrived

Hey everybody!
When the hub arrived, it seemed like Christmas. Every external peripheral I have moved to the hub, except the keyboard, webcam and mouse. The real reason that this hub is so awesome is that the thing is about 4-5 inches tall. And it fits all of your usb stuff. The port on the front of the hub is exceptional for flash drives and other removable media.
It freed up all of my USB ports, and there is no change with having all of my stuff downstream. It functions as fast as if it were plugged into the computer itself.
I absolutely love it.
