The sound is good both in the cans and in the mic. Not great, but when I voip from the laptop most people have no idea I'm not calling from a land line. They're a little stiff, and can kind of make your ears sore if, like me, you have a large head, but I suspect that if you head is a normal size or smaller this is probably a plus. Overall, I think it's a better headset (at least for sound quality) than the much more expensive one I have at the office. It makes working from home much easier on weather days.Customer Review: Second Set!

Just ordered a second set of these headphones and mic, very confortable, toally adjustable, and the sound is perfect for online gaming. I use these primarly for gaming, shooter style games, lots of explosions and sound effects, and these headphones make it atleast 9 times better. I speak to other players online, thru mic, and several have asked what Im using, because Im clear as day. I ordered a second pair for my wife. I payed 19.99 at best buy for exact same set. Great Deal! Great sound!

This was perfect for the price. I bought this headset to practice my Italian using Rosetta Stone. I have no problem going through the lessons with this headset. My previous headset's microphone did not work as well. Rosetta Stone would keep saying there was an error in the way I was saying the words...but after saying it the same way 10 times it would finally give me a sufficient score. I no longer have that problem with this headset.
I am very happy with the price and quality.

Okay, I'll make this short and sweet. I purchased these headphones a week or two ago and just got them in the mail this past week. Sound is fully proficient (better than any headphones I've tried in this price range), and they are VERY comfortable (IMHO). I cannot attest to their longevity at this point, but regardless I am happy because they will keep me happy for at least a decent amount of time and they are unbeatable for the price. I'm surprised at what persons I'm talking to can hear happening around me at work! I'm in a cubicle, but still, when there are people mildly giggling halfway down the next row over, the person I'm talking to will ask me what all the ruckus is! Not that it's distracting, I have great, very clear communications using this item. But there may be persons in your life whom you want to advise of the degree to which it can pick up sound... ;)
