I really did my homework shopping for a headset on here, reading the reviews, etc. When I decided upon the Cyber Acoustics AC-201, and received the product, tried it out, I knew I had purchased an awesome headset. Be prepared to turn down your computer sound, because these headphones nearly blew my ears out. I've used them with gtalk and the sound is as clear as a bell, and the person I was talking to could hear me perfectly. I've also used it to listen to audio videos on the Internet and its just perfect stero sound. My husband and I were both extremely pleased with this product. I was also able to register the product for warranty on the Cyber Accoustics website. So that was an extra plus. You will not regret your purchase if you choose this set of headphones.Customer Review: Good product

Great entry level product for VoIP (such as skype). I admit that it has some short comings. You can feel the pressure on your ears from the ear pad (they are ear pad and not ear cups, and they have a small foot print), but it only becomes annoying after an hour plus of wearing. If you are using these headphone to play video games, in very nosy areas, or for very long call, I'd suggest an upgrade, but for the purpose of short VoIP calls, they are the perfect set. The pros are that they are cheap, durable, have a very long cord, look good, and the mic picks up ones voice well (even though it doesn't extend all the way in front of the mouth. I would highly suggest these to anyone on a budget that needs the ability to make VoIP calls or talk to their computer.Customer Review: Well made headset.

Headset is very well made. The microphone picks up your voice clearly, and does filter out a good bit of noise. The headphones themself are great too, when you put them on, if there is a TV or other source of noise on in the room your in, it will block out plenty of sound without having these plugged in to begin with, and on top of that, with whatever you're listening to, you'll hardly be able to hear anything.
The cord is also good too, not something you usually care about, but when you've gone through 5 pairs of headphones before half a year is over, all due to cords tearing out of the ear pieces, you look for a good cord.
All in all, for what you're paying for this, you're getting a great product. Well worth your money.

The Cyber Acoustics AC-201 is rugged and simple in construction. Very comfortable to wear and good voice quality on both transmit and receive. works great with Skype and has good audio quality for playing stereo MP3 files.
The lack of a volume control in line is not a problem, as the PC volume control works just fine with it. The lack of the volume control removes one more point of failure, which is why I trashed a headseat that cost twice as much as this one.
I carry it in the original case in my PC bag, but a colleague has one and just wraps the cord around it and tosses it into his bag.
Because it was so inexpensive, I bought two, keeping one at the house and the other with my laptop in the travel bag.

I received my Cyber Acoustics AC-201 a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it. The sound quality is excellent and the sleek, lightweight design with adjustable head band and ultra-soft leatherette pads that fit on top of the ear are relatively comfortable for my sensitive ears. I have had trouble in the past with flimsy microphone attachments that break on cheap sets. The AC-201 has extra support in this area with the additional design feature of adjusting so the mic may be placed on either the left or right side. I haven't owned the set long enough to vouch for its durability, but for this low price tag, if it lasts for a few months I'll be a satisfied customer and buy another AC-201 to replace it.
