Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Sound Card (70SB073A00000)Customer Review: Spectacular Sound!! Summary: 5 Stars
I had never replaced a sound card in my computers but my son insisted that I would really like having this particular Creative product. Course, he knows I am not a gamer at all but he insisted it would make my music sound much better so I trusted him and bought this sound card.
I can say I was MORE than pleased, it makes my computer room sound like a concert venue sometimes, I can get lost in the sound. My movies sparkle too, I close the door turn everything up loud and revel in hearing all the detail that I missed before I got the Sound Blaster.
So, I recommend this product to everybody, even middle aged ladies like me, its way cool to hear everything I missed before I bought this product.
Enjoy!!!
Customer Review: Crystal clear sound Summary: 5 Stars
I got this soundcard about 2 years ago, and ive been using it since then.
I previously being a Sound Blaster user since the Audigy 1 days, hoped to Audigy 2 ZS and then the X-FI.
I the difference is HUGE, as soon you turn on the XFI Crystalizer you will hear sounds and music so different, even note instruments you were not able to perceive before.
The creative console makes quick adjuments according to your needs, Entertaining(music and movis), Games and musical creation, each mode gives advantage specifically designed to fully use the power of the XFI chip.
Im running it on Windows 7 at it works real good, with drives specifically for Vista it runs with all its capacity
100% recommended
Customer Review: Good Soundcard Summary: 5 Stars
Good soundcard, decent price, decent drivers (especially compared to previous creative offerings)
I like how it can switch between gaming, audio creation and normal media mode. Each modes settings can be customized. The CMSS 3D is sweet in games and the crystalizer has good impact on my mp3s audio quality.
I'm bitter because I had to put this into my sisters computer to make way for a gigabit ethernet card because my new computers motherboard has craptastic onboard ethernet (30%+ cpu usage). So now I'm on onboard HD Audio (It's actually not half bad!). She's very happy with the soundcard (I bet she is! *snarls*)

Great Product
Customer Review: creative soundblaster extreme gamer Summary: 5 Stars
this sound card is everything i expected and more.i purchased it, primarily, for gaming but also for music listening. in gaming the location of enemies by footsteps or other sounds is so exact it has to be experienced.you do have to work with the sound console to get the sound qualities that you want but once that is completed you got your self a serious card.for music listening this card is still at the top of its class with the proper software to allow a fair amount of listening adjustments. do yourself a favor and get some decent earphones, i use ath ad700's. do your self another favor and buy this card! that's all i got to say man.
Customer Review: X-Fi is Better than an Equilizer Summary: 5 Stars
I bought an Zmod to use with my iPod at work. The 3D Surround and Crystalizer definitely do better than just an equalizer. I bought this sound card to use in my htpc at home that has only AC '97 onboard audio. Mobo udio was ok but sounded flat even when equalizer used. X-Fi is much cleaner sounding and louder than onboard audio. Also the 3D makes sound come out/forward more and Crystalizer helps bass better than eq with my home stereo my htpc is connected to.
Digital out only work with 5.1 DVd's and is mini optical, But the quality from standard 2 channel audio is great!, even compared to my onboard digital out.
