Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Installation took about 5 minutes. Make sure you uncheck some of the extra programs that you do not need before clicking install.
You need to make sure you use a USB that has enough power to run the headphones or the device will not be detected. Some USB hubs will not work.

Customer Review: Great Product, possible software issues Summary: 4 Stars
Okay first off this is a wonderful headset. Set up properly (there are some settings you need to change, sample rate and bit depth), in Vista Ultimate 64 the sound quality is great. In gaming I can finally tell where sounds are coming from which is a big deal. I cant speak to the quality of the mic but nobody has said they cant understand me while gaming so if it works well for gaming thats all I cared about.
There are some issues with the software. After I set up the mic in Vista I encountered a problem playing L4D. The computer would just freeze up for no reason! I finally saw that this was due to a service problem. Since the only new thing I had done was to install this headset and the software I went into services and disabled all the Creative services. Wouldnt you know it but after that everything worked and no more service conflict errors. So I removed all the Creative software, Vista has all the drivers, and it works great in games. Im sure I lost some of the effects they had in their software but I didnt buy this thing for anything but gaming so I dont care.
The other con is that if I used it where it felt like it fit well it would start to hurt my ear after a while. I went and adjusted the size to where it almost felt loose on my head and it feels a lot better but I feel like if I jerk my head around it will fall off (it hasnt but it feels like it might).
Customer Review: Good but not Great Summary: 4 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Trying to find a comfortable headset to communicate with others is not easy. With online gaming that has been something very difficult for me. If I am going to play a game for one or two hours I want to be able to communicate with my friends in comfort. I have a hard time blocking out other sounds that may be coming from my environment. That is why having a headset for both ears works great for me. Also having an adjustable mic so it will be close to my month is a definite plus. My problem is with my large head and luckily this headset adjusts for just that problem. My only qualm would be with the comfort. After wearing this for about an hour my ears did not feel very comfortable. Secondly the sound really wasn't that great. This headset is compatible with the PS3 although it is not made for the PS3. This is primarily a PC headset. It's a good headset and I think most will be pleased.
Customer Review: Good Headset Summary: 4 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I tested this headset on a few games, played some music - stuff I normally do. They have excellent sound, everything I played sounded great. Really excellent ambient sound. I really like the microphone set up, the flexible attachment is genius. You can set the microphone exactly where you want it. Voice quality is also quite good.
Set up was more fiddly than other headsets, it isn't plug and play. But as others have said, just install the headset software and it isn't too bad.
One caveat - the sizing. I am a female, and the headset even on its smallest setting I still had the ear phones sliding off my ears (downward). I ended up with a folded hankie on the top of my head to fix the position. Other than that the set is comfortable, and probably for a male the sizing is fine.
Customer Review: Excellent sound quality, great microphone Summary: 4 Stars
The sound quality of the headset is crystal clear, and provides a great stereo sound experience whether you are playing a video game, listening to music, or watching video. I could not ask for more at the price point as far as sound quality, which exceeded my expectations. I would add that the mic works perfectly. I have not tried it with an online game yet, but I have used it to record my voice with the Fluenz French 1+2 language learning software and also with Windows Vista voice recognition. The mic was immediately recognized by both, and the recording of my voice with Fluenz was crystal clear. Installation of the headset is also extremely simple.
The only drawback is the fact that the headset feels tight on my head. It can be uncomfortable, and I can't imagine wearing it all day. However, all in all, I would say the positives far outweigh this drawback. This is the best headset, and best mic for my pc, that I've ever owned, and I definitely recommend it.
