Customer Review: Works with Mac (Leopard), too!

While the box specs do not suggest that OS X is supported, this headset IS instantly recognized by Leopard (10.5.5). It is great to be able to switch between built-in speakers and usb headphones in my system's sound options. I will NEVER unplug these headphones, helping to keep those pesky connectors in pristine condition.
The sound is clear and crisp. I noticed a difference instantly in COD--the gun fire was sharp and I could tell exactly where it was coming from. Right now I'm listening to P-Funk and the bass sounds great. Looks like these headphones are just as great for listening to music.
I like the way my ears fit entirely inside the padded cams. I used the set for at least 8 hours the very first day I got them and my ears were just fine at the end! This was a major selling point for me--other headsets put too much pressure on my ears, leading to discomfort in longer gaming/studying sessions.
My friends on teamspeak (a voice-chat app) said the sound quality was excellent. I was coming through loud and clear. You can easily set the input gain to leave the mic on voice activation, even with a fan running in the background. This is another major selling point.
I am thrilled with these and I'm glad to be able to strongly recommend them to the growing community of MAC gamers.

This is a very nice piece of equipment because sometimes, you simply can't always blast your PC speakers as loud as you want. That's why this USB gaming headset is essential companion to your computer case at a noisy LAN party (or those late nights when all you want to do is listen to the Titanic soundtrack without your roommate knowing). This ones are great for listening to games or music, as well as taunting your enemies at LAN parties yeahhhh.
If you love the realistic sound that new games are capable of providing, or if you enjoy listening to your favorite music or DVD on your PC, then this is what you are looking for. Constantly they produce a clean, ultra realistic sound that you demand. In today's modern games, it is as important to be able to hear your enemy as it is to be able to see him, and these headphones deliver it accurately.

I am very pleased with this USB head-set from Creative. The install is quite easy - install drivers with the included CD, reboot, and plug the head-set in. The sound is excellent, and the microphone stem that attaches to the left ear piece can be removed. The stem is very flexible and retains it's position. The USB cord is quite long, so you can walk around a little bit without taking off the head-set. It fits securely without being too tight, and the ear pieces have a soft 'velvet-like' cloth which makes them comfortable.
A fake leather bag is included so that you can store the head-set (with a separate small internal bag to hold the detachable microphone).

I installed this, but only installed the usb headset, I did not install the extra software listed on the cd and it was fairly quick and very easy. After the install I plugged it into a usb port and it automatically was detected and it automatically changed the setting for it to work. The sound is very good and the headset fits me very well (I have small ears) it is reasonably comfortable to wear also. When I unplugged the headset it autmatically returned the proper setting so the sound would come from my speakers. I have Win XP SP2 and had no problems at all with this.Customer Review: simply amazing

this product has surpased my expectations. i am. to be blunt a klutz. these headphones have stood up to every thing i have put them through including acidentally spilling my drink on them!! and in itunes they sound simply awesome. i have never heard my music sound so good. the software takes a little geting used to but after turning on surround sound effect's and the crystalization. the sound is honestly just amazing. well worth twice the price to me. the only downside i have to admit is that the cord for them is on the left hand side. and to me. i never watch my left arm im a righty. so the cord gets in my way a lot. i have found that passing the courd around behind my neck fix's this problem
