I was lucky to get this speakers, cause they where on slae at Frys electronics. When i ask the seller why where they on discount, he told me htat thet where new in the store and people had been complaining about uncompatibility with their cards. Since i had just bought an X fi car, i decided to check the creative web page before buying and i found out that tehre was an update available for the card, i didnt hesitated and bought them right away, its been over a year now and i am very happy since they are well priced and have great sound quality, SPECIALY for gaming. I have had these speakers for about a month now, and so far I have been extremely impressed with their quality for the price. This is definitely the best value you can get for a 7.1 system unless you go for the 400-500 dollar systems like the Creative Giga Works or similar. They do surround sound in gaming extremely well, for games like CS: Source, Unreal Tournament 2004, F.E.A.R., and Quake 4. For music, if you have the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS the mixing and sound quality is just fine. Overall, for under $100 dollars, these speakers are hands down the best 7.1 system you can find on the market.Customer Review: Great little 7.1 rig :)

I got these to replace my strange, but loud setup consisting of a 300 Watt 4.1 home stereo system, mostly in order to make room on my overcrowded desktop, and also in expectation of my shiny new 7.1 card (due in very soon)and I have to say that, so far, these sound amazing for their size and price! I've had a much smaller 2.1 setup that almost turned me off of Creative for good (they weren't shielded, so they had all kinds of electrical interference) but not these. The 8 piece surround sound speaker system is well made, easy to assemble to the main control system. The speakers are pleasing to the eyes and can go with any room. The sound is execellent especially with the Creative XFi sound card made by Creative Labs. The 7.1 surround sound system settings are easy to set up and change if needed. I recommend this sound system for those who like to hear things you didn't hear before. If I were to buy another sound system it would be this oneCustomer Review: Good value

I got my p7800 7.1 system two weeks ago. Coming up from stereo means that any type of surround sound will sound good to me. However this system has given me hours of immense pleasure so far. I haven't percieved a midrange deficit. I'm using an SB Audigy SE card which works wonderfully with this speaker system. In short, I'm over-the-moon happy. From here, buying a pricier system would be like stepping up from very pretty to beautiful. Why bother.
