These were given to me as a gift last spring but were not needed until now. I am a heavy SKYPE and Second Life user and needed a comfortable headset with good sound capability and a good microphone. My Logitechs broke after almost 2 years of constant use and so I unpacked and installed this Creative product.
I followed the getting started steps and installed all software, then tried the headset. The sound is not bad and they seem pretty comfortable. I think they're fairly sturdy and I don't think they'll break any time soon.....
BUT..... the microphone simply WILL NOT WORK. I have tried these on 3 different machines. I have updated all drivers including my USB drivers and still, nothing. With SL and SKYPE you absolutely MUST have voice enabled and these are disappointing (as is the Creative "support" site).
I am glad I paid nothing for these, as nothing is exactly what they're worth.
