6 GB ram in your computer... Why not use this Dominator product... Well here is a reason... unless you're using Vista 64 Bit you can only access roughly 3 GB and putting in 6 GB will LIKELY SLOW your machine down appreciably... SO order a 3 GB kit UNLESS you're using Vista 64bit then get the 6 GB kit... This is solid ram. I used to have problem with OCZ gold ram, which I was not able to overclock the ram at the specified frequency no matter what voltage I adjusted, so I decied to return the cheap OCZ ram. I am so glad that I choose to go with corsair ram, no hassle at all, I used i7 930 and asus p6x58d premium to overclock the ram to 1900+mhz without using any profiles.Customer Review: Thats silly

This kit, if put in a proper I7 motherboard with tri channel and 3 slots will be fine.
XP won't recognize the 6gb ram but will not slow your pc down at all.XP 64 would be better but I'd go windows 7, I won't install vista or Vista64.
This kit is rock solid, superfast and easily handles more voltage and oc.

Just build a new system from the ground up for the first time in several years. These arrived individually cased and then packaged in a larger plastic case, and seem very solidly built. They installed with no problems and worked without any sort hassle or reinstallation.
I would definitely recommend for an upgrade on a newer board or a new build.

I'm running a Core i7 setup on an Intel X58SO motherboard and Windows 7. I've not been able to find better performing memory for my system. I've tried a few other brands including OCZ. While Windows 7 always tells me that my memory is the slowest component of my system, I've still not been able to find any memory that provides me better results than this.
