I read only the positive reviews, with 4-5* and bought it. Mine broke in 1 week. White out LCD. Then i read the negative reviews. I found everybody has same problems with this product and Coby. i returned it to Coby but still waiting for replacement from them. Not too excited about the replacement as the reviews say that the replaced player are probably refurbished and have similiar issues. I will just pass it as a gift to somebody.
I gave 5 stars despite of total dissatisfaction from the product just to prevent somebody like me to do the mistake of buying this player

I bought this a few weeks back for my 7 mo. old. All I can say is it does great! We have been on 4 3-hour trips and I didn't have to stop once. (Before, it was 5 to 9 times) She loves watching the Baby E videos. Sound volume is not a problem. Although I wish there was a volume control on the remote. It doesn't skip, even on our 1.5 mile gravel driveway. I love the tablet style for hanging off the rear head rest for the rear-facing car seat. I don't have to worry about her seeing over it or getting at it. So far, so good. I bought the 2-yr protection plan just in case.Customer Review: Great DVD Player at a fantastic price

We bought this DVD player to use in our car for our 18 month old daughter. It fits nicely over the front seat headrest, which was a big plus for us. (Most of the others would not hang neatly from the headrest.) It never skips, and even has a remote that I can use from the front seat. We originally had a more expensive Sony model, but this one is so much better. Plus, if we need to take it somewhere, it has the ability to stand up on a table like a TV. I highly recommend it for anyone, especially for parents looking for something easy for their kids on car trips!Customer Review: Great for the price!

We are totally happy with our Coby DVD player. I looked around everywhere and could'nt find a better deal. Along with the dvd player they put a ton of stuff in the box. All types of accessories including a handy seat bag to mount to the rear of the seat. The only bad thing about this is you have to take the dvd player out of the carrier to switch movies, but all and all this was a great deal. My daughter is happy with it and i have now heard the same 8 (friggin) dvd's around 1,000,000 times! Oh well, it's all good. Beats hearing her fussing.Customer Review: BEST PLAYER EVER

This DVD player is the best. The picture quality is the sharpest, and the sound the clearest. I got it for a gift and I LOVE IT!
I have gotten other (flip-top laptop style) players in the past, & every time, my cats have wrecked them. I dare them to break this one. I can't wait to show my cousins. I love I love you, mr. caby coby for making this product. Here is a picture of me holding it:
