I bought these, cause my three cats ate through my other two pairs, and I blew out my collapsable Senheisers (best headphones ever had, like em better than the fancy bose), these were under four bucks and when I got em and hooked em up to my mp3 player the plug in isn't great got to not let it move while you do, thought they would bite, just tested them when walking to the store they plug didn't move at all and the sound quality for the buck was superb, also bought those ipod headphones for a dollar ninety nine, they don't sound as good as my old ipod headphones that came with my old ipod but I haven't road tested them yet, these coby's don't drain my mp3 battery either like the sony monitors I bought last year that killed my mp3 batter in one one hour walk, got no car so this is important sometimes I get home and go right back out for something else and don't have time to recharge, these are comfortable and sound great, and once again very light which is a major plus don't like feeling the headphones lugging down on my ears, though still if you got the money I still swear by Senheiser (check out collapsable or called folding version, light and incredible sound) they were thirty five new and now have gone up to sixty and I'm not a youth anymore not spending that kind of money, like when I was eighteen and would spend a hundred and thirty on sunglasses, LOL, now food and soap take priorities, which is why once again expected these to be junk and and besides the plug in which stableized when walking caused no trouble, was very impressed for three fifty, oh yeah plus five shipping, which is why I bought second pair for back up. They also arrived so quick like two days later, I didn't expect em so soon. One noticable thing is my mp3 volume doesn't seem to go as loud as it used to with these though still plenty loud enough for me being over fourty and just needing good clear music, oh, don't expect any thumping bass, but once again even with the sony mdr studio ones, which were huge and bulky and I couldn't move quick without them wanting to fall forward or backwards, the bass on them wasn't much better, personally I think it's the mp3 players cause when i was a kid my old sony walkman had better bass, lol, love new technology what do they improve but size, anyway spend the three fifty on these but I'd recommend buying something else with em to make the five dollar shipping cost worth it, don't know if these are worth ten bucks, you can buy a whole coby cd player at walmart for ten bucks (though they charge tax there) which if I had a car that probably would have been the way to go then at least I'd have a portable cd player for who knows what, lol. Rock On O p.s. keep these pairs on the fridge, darn cats... P.s. 2 the dollar ninety nine ipod headphones are copy cat company not true apple headphones that's why there so cheap, though they fit the same which is what I was going for, though the sound quality isn't close to apple's, though for a two bucks I'll find out how they are and write a full review in time most likely, ear ones seem to always snag on something and pop out my ears for some reason, suppose thats better than the wires tearing apart or something, miss my senheisers though was like being at a concert with my apple ipod. Though once again that was then this is now, my sansa and coby's work and once music catches you, you don't think of that stuff and that's what it's all about isn't it.
