Customer Review: Widescreen is more trouble

The product seems nice. The quality of the frame was not that great. It was a little rough around the inside of them frame where it sould have been smooth, but not that noticable. It was pretty ease to use. But if you want your picture to be in widescreen then you have to jump through some hoops. I had to get an image program from the web and resize the images. Then you have to deal with some images beting stretched. You don't have to do this but if you don't all the images will not be widescreen and will have black on the sides of the picture and it looks kind of cheap. The instruction manual or the manufactures web site had nothing about resiging images.Customer Review: great deal just to return

I purchased the dp702 frame for father's day. We fully loaded a Kodak 1gb SD card with about 450 pictures (with 75% capacity), it worked just fine and dandy. But, we wanted to add more pictures and recopied the pics onto an PNY optima 2gb SD card with good success now totalling 500 pics. That way, they could load more of their own pics on too, but when we plugged it in, we had no success. It wouldn't read the card at all. We reloaded the old card in and it no longer read it either. We are taking the frame back to exchange and hopefully, it will work. It looks like it's all about total number of pictures or memory inserted.

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my parents. Product arrived on time and in good condition. I'm just disappointed with the screen. Everything looks darker then I expected and a lot smaller. Obviously that is what I get for ordering online and not viewing it in the store. However, I just want others to be aware that product is not all that exciting. Thankfully, my parents are technologically challenged so they were thoroughly impressed with it which I suppose is all that matters then and is also why it got 3 stars instead of 2.Customer Review: A little disappointed

When I bought this I thought it would be a lot nicer than it was. The "plastic" seems very cheap and it says in the directions you can use a USB cable provided to download pictures however this model doesnt include a USB cable.It is a special size so you have to order it from them. Also I was under the impression that you could download photos and the frame would hold them but you have to leave in your memory card from your camera. Not very convinient.I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.Customer Review: Great Gift for Grandma

I bought this as a gift for Grandma, and it fit the bill beautifully. She has a Sony camera and uses memory sticks, and this frame accepts them as well as the more common SD and XD cards her "kids" use. As with many digital frames, the image quality leaves much to be desired, especially after viewing your digital pictures on your computer monitor (with a bigger and better screen). But for Grandparents showing off the grandkids to their friends and neighbors, it's great.
