Customer Review: Great Features and a Great Price

I ordered this radio for my wife to use as she sits on the porch reading. We live in a rural area with a minimum of 25 miles from any station she listens to and the reception is strong. Also, the Weather feature is strong, clear, and automatically selects the correct channel for our area. Programming the buttons is easy, as is setting the time. It is very handy to have the built-in clock feature since the radio is only three feet from my wife's reading chair. The radio also has a light button that when pushed lights up the station/time view area for a few seconds. The view area always displays the radio station, but when the time button is pressed the time is displayed for a few seconds and then reverts back to the station frequency.
The price is just shy of the minimum $25 for free shipping, so I also bought an inexpensive audio CD from Amazon so the combined total cost would give me free shipping -- which ended up making the cost of the CD at only $1, as opposed to buying just the radio and paying for shipping.
