Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Coby CX-CD282 Portable CD/Radio/Cassette PlayerCustomer Review: BOONIN' Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for my boyfriend so he could record himself playing guitar and for playing music while he jammed with it. The speakers put out some awesome sound.I did buy it thru the Amazon warehouse...which only said the box was damaged... but one of the speaker grilles had a 3" dent in it,but for the money I saved it was worth the dent.Boom boxes are harder to find than you think. The quality of this product is OMG awesome.
Customer Review: PORTABLE CD/RADIO/CASSETTE PLAYER (COBY) Summary: 4 Stars
THIS PLAYS VERY WELL. I LOVE IT. I BOUGHT AN OPTIONAL EARPLUG FOR PLAYING - AS YOU KNOW IT MAKES THE SOUND EVEN NICER! (IF THAT'S POSSIBLE.) IT'S A BIT BIG BUT I GAVE IT A SHELF OF ITS OWN IN MY BOOKCASE AND IT DOES QUITE NICELY. EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE IS INCLUDED. TAKE A CHANCE ON THIS ONE, ANYTIME.
Customer Review: Coby CX-CD282 - For $50 this product is worth the price Summary: 4 Stars
For $50 the Coby CX-CD282 Portable CD/Radio/Cassette Player is a good toy. It plays the CDs and cassettes as well as any other higher priced units. I plan to use this in my car with a DC to AC inverter rather than pay $350 to replace my car radio.
Customer Review: You get what you pay for. Summary: 3 Stars
I was excited when this beautiful piece of equipment arrived...meticulously packed and delivered in record time! My excitement diminished however when I first listened to its output. Compared to my old boombox with the sticky cd drawers the sound was shallow and kind of annoying, both for music and speaking voices. I'm not sure what the bass booster is all about - I didn't hear much bass. In the end I used my old unreliable player with the better sound. Now...of course I'm being very picky. I'm a musician and now realize that if I had wanted really good sound quality I should have purchased a look-alike model for $250. For its $50 pricetag this is probably still quite a nice package.
Customer Review: Coby Boombox Ok, not so boomy. Summary: 3 Stars
The Coby CX-CD282 Boombox has a muted boom (it's ok, but not earth shattering), fairly convenient controls and an adequate CD and tape player. I was somewhat disappointed with the analog AM/FM tuner, it didn't pick up as many stations as a cheaper radio, and the stereo effect was not obvious, but since that wasn't the primary reason for my purchase, I'm not going to complain. Sound quality was adequate, but not outstanding. Tone controls primitive.
