Customer Review: What a Great buy! Especially for Small Ears!

These are the best ear buds that I've ever owned.
They're sooooo comfortable: the small silicone flanges covering the ear pieces are thin and soft, conforming easily to one's anatomy when inserted. Even if one has small ear canals, these fit well.
They stay put. Sitting, walking, exercising, they have never fallen out.
The sound is fine. Good bass, good range: from classical music to audio books, to popular music, they perform well, (take this from a discerning listener). The sound isolation is very good, comparable to some low-end over-ear electronic noise cancellation headphones.
I'm going to buy several more pairs, for replacements, (not sure yet about durability), and to give as gifts.
Highly recommended. Quick, buy before they raise the price or discontinue them.

Some things you buy based on value. I do value good sound - but I save that for my home entertainment system (right now). Maybe in the future I will start spending more on earphones, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Right now, I just want something that is comfort and can provide "adequate" quality. My bar for adequate is simple: I can hear music fine, and I can hear movie audio fine.
These earphones meet those requirements, and they have been well worth their low price. I especially like how comfortable they feel in my ears. I don't think I have overly large or overly small ears, so I guess your mileage may vary, but for me, the comfort level is great. I fly a lot, and found that they sit comfortably as well on long flights.
So all in all, I'm very pleased with these Coby earphones.

I ordered a pair of these headphones, needing a replacement for my old ones. When I recieved them, I was suprised at the sound isolation! I mean that's what they advertise, but WOW it really does isolate outside sound.
For me though, this may be a bad thing. If someone in my household knocks on my room door or calls me from downstairs or on my phone I might not be able to hear them. xD
It's not really a con for the product itself, so that's why I didn't rate it down. The only thing that I wish was different is the cord itself. It has kind of an old look and feel to it. I'm so accustomed to using Gumy earphones, and I really like the feel and bounciness of those cords...but anyways great product. One of the best, and most affordable (I got mine for $5.51 shipped) earphones there is!

I purchased these a while ago, expecting them to break after a little use. I was surprised at their durability - smashed in my backpack for a year, went through the washer and dryer three times, went with me to china and russia and they STILL work. The only problem is that I lost one of the little rubbery ear pads on trip number three through the wash, but with the super saver shipping, buying a new pair was a more economical solution. The sound quality isn't really Amazing, but they were far better than anything I've purchased in the price range (+/- 10$). No they aren't the gigantic noise canceling headphones I use at my computer... but they're great for stuffing in your pocket and walking around with. Durable, decent+ quality of sound, very economical - I just ordered another pair.Customer Review: these work great for long periods of time

I work outside and listen to my ipod on average about 8 to 12 hours a day(literally) and I have also tried plenty of earphones. so far I have yet to find a better deal than these.I generally need to replace these after about six months, which is great considering how many hours I have on them.I can wear them all day without my ears getting really soar from the rubber pieces(which I cant find on any other earphone, even bose).I also have a pair of bose earbuds(that I dont use while i'm at work) and even though I hear a very noticeable difference in the sound, these dont sound bad at all. in fact if I wasn't so spoiled with the quality sound of the bose, I would say these sound as good as any in the $30-$50 range.Simply put, for under $6 you cant go wrong and the comfort is awesome
