Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Coby CA-747 Dual Position CD/MD/MP3 Cassette AdapterCustomer Review: Very pleased with this purchase Summary: 5 Stars
This cassette adapter has done exactly what it is supposed to. The sound quality is excellent, and it works perfectly! One thing I thought I'd share, in case it happens to someone else: when we first put the adapter in and turned our MP3 player on, the sound was horrendous. Very staticky and we could hardly hear the music. Then I realized that we had the sound turned almost all the way up on the MP3 player... so I turned it almost all the way down and turned the car stereo up instead. Instant fix! So far we're very pleased with it and it was worth every penny! It sounds much better than the FM transmitter we were using before, and it's much easier to use.
Customer Review: Best adapter out there Summary: 5 Stars
This is the car adapter everyone should get. Just got it for my ipod in my Honda Accord. When I first popped it in, I thought quality was alright but fuzzy, until I started tuning my stereo and ipod. I set my ipod to half volume (great uses less battery!!) and set the car bass a little lower and BOOM. I had near PERFECT quality from this tape. This is my second experience buying a cassette adapter, and my first one kept popping out the cassette player of my car with horrible quality. However this adapter works great. The wire is coiled and very convenient. Highly recommended. Just look at all the good reviews on this product.
Customer Review: This is the one to buy Summary: 5 Stars
Three different casette adapters are scattered on the back seat of my car - one XM, one Sony, one RCA, all thrown back there in disgust after they started spontaneously popping out of my cassette player and/or squeaking and rattling at intolerably high decibel levels. I went looking for a higher quality unit for use with my XM radio. I considered one by Monster but read bad reviews; finally settled on this one and I'm very happy with it after two weeks. It's silent, it stays put, and its coiled cord and and two-way plug show a little imagination in design and care in manufacture. If it starts squeaking I'll let you know.
Customer Review: Helped out the commute Summary: 5 Stars
I've got a long commute in an older econobox of a car that only sports a tape deck. I figured I'd try out a tape adapter rather than spend money to get a whole new deck in a car that really doesn't deserve one. I've had this tape adapter for 18 months now and it has worked without problem straight out of the box. My car even has the autoreverse feature and I haven't had to modify a thing. Having a 10GB MP3 player rather than a couple of old mix tapes sure makes the ride easier. This tape adapter is inexpensive and has done the job for longer than most cheap electronics are usually expected to last. Recommended.
Customer Review: Better than expected! Summary: 5 Stars
Just got my BMW 330 convertible and had been despiring of ever using my iPod in it. I had listened to friends' Griffin iTrip and other such FM transmitters and I had always been underwhelmed about the quality of sound. Seemed like it was better to listen to the AM stations instead ... Anyway, I'd read about the Coby cassette adapter online and so stumbled onto it at an electronics shop (Harvey Norman). Seemed pretty cheap at S$16.00 (approx. US$10) and when I plugged it into my car, I was blown away by the ease of use and quality of sound. Have had it for less than a week but nevertheless, great stuff!
