This device has terrible feedback (high pitch noise) which could significantly harm hearing. It picks up all the noise in a room, so you hear a door close, people's conversation as much as the TV or music. When a door was closed, there was a huge bang sound in my ear. If I could give this product the equivalent of a negative star rating, I would. It didn't work out-of-the-box. No power. Flimsily made. I had purchased for my elderly mother and needed it to work for her short visit to convince her of the need for a more permanent solution to her loss of hearing.
