I purchased Cheetah mount a couple weeks before Christmas, because I was looking for a way to mount a 60' plasma on the wall in a den. The issue with the room I was installing it in was the owner had several doorways and a fireplace, that presesent problems with a flat mount, so an articulating mount was needed. I was initially hesistant, because the television weighted over 116 lbs. However, the mount has held the television for over a month and the owner hasn't called me back yet to say the television has fallen off the wall.
Only issue I found with the mount was the subpar lag bolts included in the kit. Even after predrilling and lubricating the hole and the bolts, the heads still sheared off with the least bit of torque; luckily I have an easyout set. After picking up a few more (of better quality) at the local hardware store, we were back in business. I can only imagine what could have happened it the bolts hadn't sheared during installation.

This is one of the most hard core mounts that you can get. I bought this for a 55" TV that I bought for my dad as a thank you gift. (aww)
This mount can do it all, it can rotate out, turn, raise, lower, and be pulled forward/pushed back. There is a built in leveler and it comes with an additional one as well. If you receive this during the winter, you may have to wait for it to get to normal temperature before the leveler bubbles work properly.
Because of how tough this mount is, it is heavier than a traditional mount. Your wall studs should still have no problems, at least I didn't with a 75 pound TV and this mount.
This mount comes with everything you need and supports most TVs. If you want an articulating full motion mount then I would recommend this one. If you don't need those extra mount features, there is a cheaper Cheetah alternative.
So all in all, A+ mount, high quality construction.

This mount is well built. I had to mount a board on the wall since my studs are 24" on center and the mount is made for 16" on center. I then installed the mount to the board. I was able to bolt at least one side of the mount to the wall studs where it crossed them. The other side is only bolted to the board, but it is very strong. Enough to hold me at 235lbs. This is how everything lined up for me in order to center it on my wall. It's no problem holding up my vizio 55". I removed the lock washers and flat washers so the nuts had more of a bite on the bolts and the nylock will keep them from loosening up. I dont know why they used both lock washers and nylock nuts buts its unnecessary. I then tightened them up so that it was easy to move away from the wall but nott too loose. A lot of people have complained about how hard it is to move the tv from the wall. The CHEETAH MOUNT arrived on time and was as described, good package. Why spend several hundred dollars on the same thing? This is a good product and if you really know how to hang it, it's easy. But if you don't then I suggest you have it done professionally. The back plate will not bridge stud to stud 16" or more and I found the 3/4" plywood either mounted on the wall or in the wall in place of the dry wall to work perfectly. The back plate is designed for a single stud offset to either side and if you have a stud in the center, then new holes will have to be drilled in the plate. the wing nuts for the leveling feature were junk and just broke right off! But they were easily replace with a metric nut at the local hardware store for less then a dollar. This item is still equal in value to the $300 plus mounts and I would not be afraid to tell anyone to use it or try the other items they make! I bought a 50" Plasma and decided it would be best on my wall. I went looking through stores and found higher prices than this one and bulkier designs.
I love the articulating arms!! I can pull it away from the wall to access the wires, etc. and adjust the left to right tilt for best viewing. It seems very sturdy and has worked great for me the last six months.
It was easy enough to mount to the wall but if you are not good with tools seek experienced assistance. You will need someone to hold it up for you unless you are good at this sort of thing. The hardest part was hanging the TV and that was only due to the weight of it.
Note: Make sure you have wall studs with 16" centers if mounting to drywall!! I bought it not realizing I had 24" centers on that one wall. This caused me to mount it to a steel plate so it could get anchored to the studs (The 50" TV weighed 125lbs!!)
