The best feature of the Chamberlain keypad is that it requires no additional wiring for installation. Once you program the keypad to your garage door opener, it's ready to attach (2 screws). It took me a couple tries to complete the programming, due to the fact I was not fully depressing the numbers on the keypad when programming the code. Item came exactly as pictured in the amount of time predicted. Installation was a breeze and took me 10 minutes; didn't even use a power drill to screw it into the frame of my garage door. And it came in a couple of days. The keypad works great with my Chamberlain garage door--I programmed the thing in about 3 minutes and had it installed in 10. I bought this to use with my older Genie garage door opener (nine dip switch model) and it works great. Setup was a piece of cake as others have noted: five minutes to read the directions and program it, then a few more minutes to screw it in to the outside wall of my garage. Really, no complaints. Lightened keypad is nifty. Too early to report on battery life. Works fine with my 10YO Chamberlain opener. Programming is not a snap but certainly pretty easy following the programming sheet. This is one of those products that just needs to work - all the time - and never be noticed - it does just that.
