Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Chamberlain KLIK2U Clicker KeypadCustomer Review: Works Great Summary: 5 Stars
We have an older Craftsman garage door, and I wasnt sure if it would work or not but it works great. The previous owners of our house had one of these, but didnt know how to reprogram it and had forgotten the code. Installation was pretty easy, it comes with different installation methods depending and make and year produced of you garage door. I had to vary a little from what the instructions said I needed to do, but not much (on a part that had to do with the actual door opener not the clicker).
We have had no problems in a little over a month now, and use it quite a few times a week. An easy no wiring solution that anyone can install and use.
Customer Review: Fabulous product and great customer service! Summary: 5 Stars
We purchased the unit because we got tired of making keys to the house for family members who kept losing them. It was easy to program, easy to install, and worked like a charm. Our only issue came when the product failed after about a year of use. The unit's warranty is only one year, but I called the customer service department anyway because the unit was in a well-protected area and I wanted to let them know I expected better longevity for the price. I was happy to talk with a very pleasant person in customer service who is shipping us a new unit today! Good customer service seems to be hard to come by these days, I'll stick with this company for awhile!
Customer Review: This device works well Summary: 5 Stars
It took me a little while to get the codes figured out. My Raynor garage door opener, circa 1991, has an add-on "Multi-code" wireless transmitter by Linear. The transmitter is actually hanging upside down, so when I was checking the DIP switches I was reading them in reverse order. It took me a little while to figure out what I was doing wrong (reading glasses would have helped). Once I was reading the DIP switches correctly, configuration was easy. I am writing this review in part to let buyers know that compatibility with the KLIK2U may depend on an add-on wireless transmitter, rather than on the maker of the door opener. The keypad functions well.
Customer Review: Quick and easy Summary: 5 Stars
I am giving this remote keypad 5 stars because it was exactly what I wanted. With the instructions, I had it working in five minutes. No cursing.
My opener is a three year old Chamberlain. I looked at the color of the antenna wire and knew the aprox. age of the opener. That allowed me to know which opener I had.
When I order through Amazon I feel that if something is not right, then I have some recourse. Not the case with all internet shopping. I am pleased with my purchase.
Customer Review: Works great with my pre 96 Liftmaster Summary: 5 Stars
Uses a 9 volt which I like much better than the older one we had. (It used a small 12 volt battery that was like 5 bucks, 9 volt is a lot cheaper.)
Works just fine, super easy to program and install.
They keys illuminate in red, not nuts about that, but the red does do the job.
No "ENTER" key...Its your 4 digit password and then "zero" and up goes the door.
Do it again and down it goes or I can hit the button inside the garage to put down the door.
