These things either work or they don't. This one works fine for me. There are a million and one different brands of these reader/writers... All do pretty much the same thing. This one being USB2.0 does allow faster transfer rates of course.Customer Review: No more flash memories

This is all you need. It is cheaper and equally efficient plus it works with SD and mircoSD memories. I forgot about cables and bluetooth adaptors to move pictures from my camera to my PC, and to move music from my PC to my cell phone.Customer Review: Works fine

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Tried with Vista and Mac OS X. I plugged in the SD card before plugging the device into the computer's USB port. Used with SanDisk Extreme III 2 GB, and SanDisk microSD 2 GB with SD adapter.Customer Review: Worth it

If you are searching for something to read and write micro sd cards (they still need their adapter cards) this is perfect. Most older card readers cant take the micro, but this one works. It was very cheap and shipped very fast.
