I thought I had seen a review from someone that said they couldn't write information to the memory card when using this device, only read from it. Im not sure why they are having problems, I have none with the read or write functions using this unit. I use it to transfer mp3s to a 2GB Sandisk card and play on my garmin gps, and it works perfect.Customer Review: Pretty Cool

This memory card reader is very handy to have. It can read the memory cards from your camera, cell phone and other devices. It's easier to put the card in this and read them rather than trying to find all of the cables that go with all of your devices so you can download pictures from the card. cheap, tiny, portable, functional. works great, no problems [yet]. even has an indicator light to let you know its in use. i use it to connect my cameras SD card to my mac MBP, because the computer wasn't recognizing the camera when i connected it via usb. what an excellent solution to a simple problem! perfect.Customer Review: Coverts SD and MicroSD HC to USB

I've used this for the past year to link my MicroSD HC cell phone memory with my USB PC. My PC has an SD card reader but does not recognize HC (high capacity). This converter takes care of that. I love it. I'm not too computer savvy, but it works great for me. I mainly use it to upload digital pictures to send to family. Great price. I'm sure the electronic wizards will always be coming up with something "new and improved" all the time. But for now, I recommend it.
